The last few recipes I've shared and will continue, are very safe for children, while mummy and daddy can indulge in them too.Its free of refined sugar and preservatives and loaded with antioxidants.
(You can give this as the first thing in the morning too, if your kid has issues letting go :)

Sharing the benefits of the ingredients:
  • Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. So not only are they good for your skin, they cleanse your gut...
  • Grapes are packed with Vitamins C & K and high on antioxidants too.
  • Lemon : Rich in Vitamin C it has immense health benefits & helps maintain the alkaline content in food
  • Fresh Ginger: Contains Gingerol, a Substance With Powerful Medicinal Properties.
Ingredients:

Apple - 1 red apple deseeded & cut into small cubes
Red or Black Grapes - a bowl full
Ginger - Half an inch grated
Lemon - half limes freshly squeezed juice
Pinch of Rock Salt
Pinch of roasted cumin powder
1 cup water

Preparation:
Blend all the ingredients together, you can choose your consistency, chunky smooth or coarsely filtered.
Serves 3 children or 2 adults.

Tip for dieting : If you are planning to start Detox or a diet regime this is very beneficial in cleansing  your gut, but do have it before 5pm max followed by a light dinner after an hour.

This is just the smoothie i need for the heat :)
